The Dovo Leather Hanging Strop Russian Cowhide sharpens your razor's edge before each shave. Its impeccably smooth stropping surface has no visible bumps, and its wide surface allows a full strop of an entire blade in a simple forward and back motion. The wide surface also prevents the "X" motion necessary by thinner strops.
It features riveted construction for enhanced durability and a space-saving hanging design with a finger loop at the base that can also hold the strop taut.

I am new to straight razor shaving. The barber I went to used a barberette. I purchased a naked armor and then the Dovo barbarossa. The Dovo in my opinion is much easier to use probably due to it's smaller size and grind. Definitely recommend if you're just doing detailing after a haircut.
Works really well!
The set is really perfect for traveling. When traveling, I don’t need an entire manicure set, and I already have several pairs of spare clippers. But a file and scissors are necessities. This set is small but the file is very effective and efficient and the scissors work well. The first set I received had some rust spots. GMS kindly replaced the item with a new set which was perfect.
Amazing razor.
I bought a Thiers Issard and was very disappointed in the blade. Even after sharpening and honing to 12000 it did not cut great, I ordered this razor and man, what a difference! This passed the hair test form the factory (before stropping) and was a pleasure. U did a quick hone at 12000 and it is like butter with a hot knife now through the hair test. THids was far less than the other one a far greater quality out of the box.
They have slots to hold blade! Buy black or red or clear instead
