Blade cut through facial hair smooth and effortlessly. Was very easily able to edge up facial hair lines. Blade definitely does not disappoint.

Aggressive razor but gave a smooth shave.
I'm getting perfect close shaves without any cuts every time. The blade angle is much better than my previous Edwin Jagger razor. It was half the cost of this new one and that just goes to say, "you get what you pay for." I'm loving shaving and it looks great on the Edwin Jagger stand designed for it.
Amazing razor. Build quality is unparalleled. It’s got some heft to it but the knurling on the handle locks it in. For me, I started out with a feather blade. Very close shave. It’s definitely got some blade feel to it. Second shave was with a Treet blade. Tames the blade feel a little. Overall gives the closest shave I’ve ever gotten. Didn’t feel stumble till the next day!! Not a mild razor, but the more I shave, the more I appreciated the feedback from increased razor aggression. That’s the fun of it. Using technique to use the aggression to your favor. Be well and shave on!

I custom-ordered my razor and had my name engraved on the spine. It took Thiers-Issard several months to complete the order, but I am immensely satisfied with the final product. In short, my razor is perfect. There is not a single point where it was not immaculately finished. The blade is stunningly sharp and precise- and has remained so for the last two months of use with stropping. I am confident this razor will outlast me and was absolutely worth the investment.
Nearly a month ago I gifted myself the King Arthur shave kit. The razor is a work of art, a thing of beauty, and a pleasure to shave with. The balance is superb making it easy to get the edge in the proper position to shave. I'm fairly new to using a straight razor and shopped extensively prior to deciding on this one. The wonderful folks at Naked Armor honed my razor for no fee as it was "dragging a bit" out of the box. Now, this razor and the other product in the kit make my daily shave a pleasurable experience. Any ladies looking to get the man in their life a lasting gift, then by all means choose one from Naked Armor. First off, let me say this. It is the first time I've used a straight razor, therefore I have nothing to compare this razor to. I'm one of those people that research products before a purchase. Reading reviews, for what they are worth. Most reviews comment on the razor not being sharpe, which was the major cause in less positive reviews. The Kit arrived within a few day after I ordered it. Looked just like the picture, So I guess I can say you get what you order. Again, this is my first straight razor. it was lighter than I expected, looked good no blemishes that I can see. I also received the ceramic scuttle as a Father's Day promotion, and I ordered the stand. All of which appeared to be good quality, time will tell. So, the first thing I did was use the strop and paste to get the blade shave ready. Once again I will say this was my first time using a straight razor. Using small strokes to get the proper angle and pressure, I got a nice close smooth shave. Getting the angles and how to hold the razor to get around your face will take time and practice. I will admit there were a few areas that could have been closer, but again I believe this will come in time it's a learning curve. As for the shape of the Thor razor, you do have to be careful with the tip, but is great for shaping and edging which is why I choose it. I must admit felt nice using a straight razor to shave with. If You are thinking of taking the plunge and try a straight razor shave, I'd say do it. It's a different kind of shave, using a single edge blade to remove your facial hair.
Really well-made straight razor from Germany. It holds a keen, comfortable edge to shave with. I strop it every day on my leather strop and get a smooth, irritation free comfortable shave. The razor arrived in time.
