I’m new to building a shave den but not to wet shaving. I decided to just shave the head the last of October and have kept it shaven since. My beard is now where all my hair is and I currently only shave my neck as the beard continues to grow and fill in. I purchased the REX Ambassador based on its ratings as a superlative razor, although there were reports of it being more aggressive than anticipated. I found the same to be true for me as well as the angle required to achieve a BBS shave - which I have yet to achieve. I thought the adjustment of the razor would be a game changer but so far not as I continue to adjust my shaving angle to get the most out of this expensive piece of kit My first shave I applied no pressure and came away with a burning, irritated scalp on setting 1.5. I let it rest for three days and used my LEAF to smooth things out. My last use of the Ambassador was at setting 3, and it was, overall, a great shave. The craftsmanship of this razor is stunning, by the way! This beauty makes an impressive addition to anyone’s collection. Your service was great, even though it took longer than I had anticipated for it to arrive; I am somewhat impatient, LOL! I keep my sites on your page looking for other accoutrements and look forward to your service agsin.
