So, I initially ordered the Thor kit thinking having the Spanish point would make it easier for precision shave work (I shave my head sides and back) but had nicked myself a few times and noticed what looked like a possible issue with the bevel on the point. I had brought this up to the good folks here at grown man looking for a remedy (re-hone maybe) and was offered a couple options- I could send the razor in for it to be honed again or they offered another razor to me with a different blade profile. While I am still a little unsure with the Thor blade though I am sure it can be fixed, they sent me the Lancelot razor to try. Now aside from the tip and nick issues I personally had with the Thor blade I don't think ut is an accurate representation of their blades as the rest of that blade worked GREAT. The Lancelot was much easier to use and I would highly recommend it for beginners or those in my position shaving their heads without the benefit of using your other hand to pull skin tight. It works flawlessly, zero nicks the blades come VERY sharp (though in the interest of thoroughness I stropped them anyway before the first and each subsequent shave). Bottom line is the razors they have on offer are top of the line fantastic quality, I would definitely recommend anything they offer dependent on personal tastes and their customer service is top notch! There is no better feeling than a nice wet shave, it's an art and a slightly time consuming activity rather than just a necessary action required of us but the resulting close and soft feel of my skin (always use aftershave!) And length of time between shaves makes it....relaxing. as a remind NEVER strop after a shave. Give it a good day for the steel to sit and strop just before you shave. The edge will last longer!
