As part of our Classic Range, PURIST concentrates on the art of the essential; dispensing of all that is superfluous. This series is characterized by its gently rounded handles and a broadly shaped neck.
One of the most distinctive and rare materials, Karelian Masur Birch is grown in a small area of Karelia during the mid-winter season. Harvested only when the ground is frozen, the harsh climatic conditions result in the low growth height of the Masur Birch which, in turn, produces the wood’s characteristically rich grain.
Once picked, the square timbers are then shaped by turning. Only the finest quality Masur Birch is then further processed and stabilized during a special procedure. This procedure ensures the wood becomes hard-wearing and water-resistant.
The use of natural material ensures that each product is unique, the handle’s graining adding individual character to each brush, razor, and set.
Silvertip Fibre
A premium hair grade, this synthetic brush consists of seven different types of fiber, varying in thickness and length. This variation allows for a brush head that, without compromising on the backbone, is uniquely soft and easy to manage.
Processed by hand, the Silvertip Fibre was created to provide a completely vegan, and lower maintenance product that would emulate all the benefits of a premium natural hair brush head.
Easy to care for and easy to use, the Silvertip fiber brush still produces a thick and creamy lather from small amounts of shaving soap and cream. Unlike natural hair, however, the Silvertip Fibre brush is somewhat more stable and resistant to daily wear. A little more forgiving in its maintenance, the Silvertip Fibre brush dries quickly and is more resistant to shaving soaps and creams.
Durable but suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types, Silvertip fiber is uniquely soft at its fine tips, guaranteeing a gentle and pleasant experience, without compromising on the desired backbone of a quality brush head.
