Naniwa Flattening Stone A-102 220 Grit

Flattening your water stones is an important process for maintaining them so that they give optimal performance. This Naniwa Flattening stone is designed to work with Naniwa Water Stones but we've found it works well on any waterstone.

Unlike Water Stones, you'll need to soak the your Naniwa Flattening Stone before use.  Rise both your Naniwa Super Stone and Nagura Dress Stone throughly after use to remove any residue created during the lapping.
