There actually is a plastic wrapper on this soap. It was so air tight it wasn't noticed at first and thought the soap wasn't going to lather, but remove the wrapper and Voila! Lol! Bought this soap as a gift for my brother who is very particular and he loves it! He has very sensitive skin and really likes how this soap moisturizes. Very thick lather so needs a good amount of water to keep it workable. All natural ingredients are very important to him so one more box checked. And the scent is mild but wonderful, Not too strong that it would interfere with his beard oils. Each puck measures approximately 2 inches across and 1 inch in height.
