As a tribute to the "Guardian Angel" of Route 66, Boker presents the Boker Angel Delgadillo Route 66, strictly limited to 99 pieces. The barber from the sleepy town of Seligman in the US state of Arizona is considered a cult icon on the Mother Road, as Route 66 is also called, and even at the age of 90, he is far from thinking of stopping. What could be more natural than to dedicate a razor to the lively and eternally young barber?
The imposing Boker Angel Delgadillo Route 66 impresses with its 7/8-inch wide carbon steel blade, which glides particularly smoothly over the skin thanks to its size and the extra hollow grind. As a special highlight, the "Angel's Barber Shop" lettering framed by inlays has been lasered onto the back of the blade, while the jimps on both sides of the blade and the classy satin finish round off the look of the round-headed blade perfectly.
Sandy brown landscapes are typical for the course of Route 66, so that only the desert ironwood, native mainly to Arizona, could be considered for the hilt. Freedom and the American way of life find a nostalgic expression in the Route 66 logo on the handle. Thanks to a special process, it was possible for the first time to create a Boker razor with such a laser finish on the wood. The intermediate piece is made of black micarta, while the high-quality look of the handle is rounded off by three studs made of nickel silver. Supplied with an authentic Boker stamp on the blade, a certificate of authenticity, and historical packaging. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.

Productions like a museum quality piece. Didn't even want to shave with it because I was concerned I would mess up how spectacular this blade looks. For just lining up my beard lines this 5/8" handles most excellent. Shaving with this razor is like a hot knife cutting through butter. Couldn't be more pleased. For anything other than lining up my facial hair I use a 6/8" blade or a 7/8" just because they seem to handle more facial hair in less time. I am sure it is all technique but each man will develop a certain preference or technique that works for them.
The store has great customer service and dependability, it's the main reason I keep going back.
Kindest people to support you on your purchase! Keep up the good work!!
